Yesterday, on Saturday, July 28, we had the Grand Finale for the MISS & MR SL Youngstar 2018 Pageant. The Grand Finale's are always kind of bitter sweet... it's a long, rewarding journey not only for the candidates, but for the team as well. There were so many good candidates it was hard for the judges to choose just one, because really, they're all winners... They've ALL grown, and worked so hard to make it to the finale, and I hope they feel as proud of themselves as I am of them. BUT there's only one crown for the girls and one brooch for the boys... so that being said, I'd like to offer a huge congratulations to Miss CarolinaOmena and Mr Xuro, who are the new reigning MISS & MR SL YoungStars. I know you two will be amazing in the role, just as Aly and Kenzie were as MISS & MR SL YoungStar 2017. To all the other runner ups and finalists, I do hope you'll keep your heads up and continue to work and learn, you were all amazing!
