An Invigorating Dose of Venom

The Press Presentation for the MISS SL 2017 Pageant has come and gone, which means only one more big event til we find out who will wear the title of MISS SL 2017. For this Press Presentation, the contestants were instructed to style a formal outfit inspired by Chinese fashion designer, Guo Pei. Their only limitations were that their stylings must be suitable for a red carpet, and that they must NOT wear a tiara or crown. This was a fabulous event, and the ladies certainly did not disappoint!

The lovely gowns that Rissa and I got to wear during the Press Presentation are both by Dead Dollz, and are available in 8 colors, or as a fatpack, exclusively for the Maitreya Lara mesh body, at FaMESHed 5th Anniversary Round. This dress also comes with a HUD which allows a choice of matching shrug and bow, or a contrasting color that compliments nicely. Rissa and I chose both the blue tones, and matched perfectly in an opposite sort of way, totally accidental, but looks amazing!

I'm sure many know about the N-core Photo Contest going on right now, and I of course had to put a submission in, what woman doesn't love shoes? I can't think of any! For my submission, I went a little bit light and Springy with the Grace Heels Summer Special Edition, and they matched perfectly with the new dress by Kastle Rock Couture. The 4th Challenge for the MISS SL 2017 Pageant was today and it certainly did not disappoint! Whenever I see XOXO, my silly little mind goes to Gossip Girl, and yes, I have seen every episode, but no, it isn't my favorite show. The 2nd and last audition for the MISS SL 2017 Pageant is over, and wow so many great stylings were seen. I don't envy the judges trying to narrow down who gets to move on as an official candidate and who doesn't that's for sure! BUT... now the fun begins with the challenges and events and I can't wait to see what the candidates come up with!

For the audition, Rissa and I coordinated our outfits to match using the new Sima dress by United Colors, which can be found at the current round of Kustom9. This dress is neat because you can choose a striped skirt with thick or thin stripes, a solid color skirt, or you can even remove the skirt and make it a cute top! A very diverse ensemble for sure, with fits for Belleza Freya & Isis, Maitreya Lara, and Slink Physique & Hourglass!
