FASHICON is a monthly challenge, which will determine who will be the FASHICON of the month, and eventually lead up to FASHICON of the year! Everyone is free to join as many or few as they want, and it's a clean slate each month. A huge congrats to Kantiya Wickentower for being named FASHICON of the month, and to the runner ups Melinda Bayne, Misoindite Romano and Ziekling Bunnyhug, all of whom are elidgible to enter the FASHICON of the Year Challenge in 2020!

On Saturday, November 10, we had the 2nd Challenge for the MR SL 2019 Pageant. For this challenge, the MRs were instructed to style an outfit using leather. They had to have at least 2 leather items, and one color that was not black, brown, white or grey in their styling. They all looked super hot in leather, but seriously now, who doesn't love leather?! So, the 3rd and final live audition for the MR SL 2017 Pageant has come and gone, and that means the pageant is officially underway. We've got a great selection of talented guys competing for the title now, and I know without a doubt that they will all do great! For this audition, Kat told me the color was blue, so blue is what I wore, and since I had heard about this Pre Fall Exclusive Fashion Line that ISON & ROWNE were collaborating together on, I chose a dress from there. This line is split up at both locations, and is only available until September 28, then will never be available again, so it's definitely worth checking out. I know I am very glad that I did!

Yes, I'm again quite late with this, BUT as I always say, it's better late than never! It's been quite the journey for the MISS SL 2016 contestants, and hopefully it's been a rewarding one for all of them too. For this Grande Finale event, we got to see not one but three fabulous ensembles from the contestants. First we got to see their Victoria's Secret stylings, then we got to see them in their National Costume stylings, and last but certainly not least, we got to see their Formal stylings. It was a long day, lots on anticipation, but we narrowed it down to the top 12, then the top 5, then finally, the winner of MISS SL 2016. Miss Ivyana Szondi has been a fabulous Queen so far and it's been a pleasure to see her continue to shine, but in my personal opinion, every MISS SL 2016 contestant is a shiny gem and will continue to do great things! As for me, well, I'll continue to be around too, just as I was all through the pageant. *Smiles* OH and I almost forgot! Below is the dress I wore hosting the Grande Finale. It's by ISON and has absolutely gorgeous lace detail for the bodice, and the sheer overlay for the top is optional. It came in several colors, and had fits for all the popular mesh bodies out there. *Smiles* I chose black because you can never go wrong with a classic black dress!

SO, for this first challenge, the contestants were to do a styling based on Ethnic Chic, and totally wow the judges, and I think they did just that! YAY! I made it to the final! For the styling part of the final test, we were asked to style a Business Casual outfit. We were not allowed to use 'out the box' outfits either, so I was googling, and raiding inventory, and shopping for a few days before my outfit was complete. In the end, I was very pleased with out well it all came together! Nothing worn is from the same store, even though the skirt and blazer look like a matched set. YAY! Mission accomplished! While there were other parts to the final, I ended up passing with a 194 out of 200, and 150 minimum was needed to pass! YAY! I DID IT! Style details and picture below! *Smiles big*

At the end of the first lesson, Ponchi told me to style a Rich Casual Chic outfit, she said to imagine how I'd be dressed if money was not an issue. SO, I got to work researching and putting pieces together to come up with a fabulous look.
