On February 2nd, we had the 10th Edition of the L'Homme Magazine SL Fashion Show. It's hard to believe we've already had ten of these spectacular shows! We saw so many great new designs for both men and women from some of the top designers of Second Life and featured editorial outfits that can be seen in the newest issue of the L'Homme Magazine.

On June 16, 2018, we held the first audition for the MISS & MR SL YoungStar 2018 pageant, and as always, it's filled with the cutest of cute kids in SL! They were given the theme 'Movie Stars' and told to style an outfit inspired by their favorite character or actor/actress from a movie. They all did an amazing job, and it showed in the judges votes because they all made it in to be official candidates! We'll have the second audition on June 30, 2018, and then the pageant officially starts, and I can't wait to see what these little cuties do next! I am a bit more than a week late posting this, but it's totally not my fault! My computer decided to go kapooey on me... BUT I'm back now with a new computer and screen! YAY!!! SO, here's what I totally intended to have up last week...

Last Saturday was the 4th Runway Challenge for the MISS SL 2018 Pageant, and it most definitely did not disappoint! All the ladies looked amazing! For this challenge, the candidates were instructed to research the latest released RTW or Haute Couture spring collection from their favorite designer or fashion house. Next they were to Style an outfit inspired by the particular spring collection and create their own interpretation of the styling. Additionally, they were to include at least one of the New York Fashion Week Spring 2018 trend colors in their styling. Full challenge details and specifics will be linked below. I can't wait to see what comes next in the MISS SL 2018 Pageant, it will be great! The fifth runway challenge for MISS SL 2018 will be on April 28, at 10am SLT, with more pageant events in coming weeks after. Happy St. Patrick's Day! I love doing stuff with Holiday themes... it probably derives from my childhood where my Grandmother would celebrate every possible Holiday in the year... it didn't matter to her as long as it was a Holiday to celebrate... so I try to do the same! The dress I'm wearing today is new from Vero Modero. The MR SL 2017 Pageant has come to an end... we officially have a new reigning MR SL, but we will always have Mr. SaianSamuel as MR SL 2016, and the first ever MR SL. A HUGE congratulations to Mr. Colt Jonstone for winning! I know you'll be a great addition to the MR and MISS SL family! It's always a little melancholy at the end of a pageant, so much time and effort goes into putting them together, but you make new friends along they way and then you're happy for the winner and finalists. A huge thank you to Mami Jewel of Azul and Kat Carter of Moondance Boutique for providing my gown and jewelry for the show. I felt beautiful in it for sure!
