As they say in New Orleans, Laissez les bons temps rouler! For those of you who doesn't know what this means, it translates to Let the good times roll, and is a very popular saying especially around Mardi Gras. During Mardi Gras, there's so many parades and parties, you basically have to buy the parade guide to be able to plan routes around the parades to get around in New Orleans and the surrounding areas. There were many times when I was there that we accidentally got stuck behind a parade route, and the best thing to do since you won't get through for hours is to park the car and enjoy the parade! So in honor of Mardi Gras today, and the end of the carnival period, I'm all dressed up in purple, green and gold! And I absolutely LOVE these nails from Dark Passions - Koffin Nails! They have 3 styles in 1 HUD, each with 3 colors, one with Mardi Gras tips, one with Fleur de lis, and one with beads! So I mix-n-matched the beads and Fleur de lis options, and I love how these work together! SO go get your nails done Mardi Gras style today! OH! And listen to a lil Lou Bega too!

Tonight, I've had Oh Christmas Tree stuck in my head, so I figured why not dress like a Christmas present, and take a picture with a tree. *Hee* Plus, it's fun, and I'm in the spirit at least! I love Christmas trees! So now to business! (SEE I can be business like! LOL!) There's only a few more days of Advent Gifts, and this necklace and bracelet set are worth going to Moondance Boutique for. The necklace and bracelets are fully functioning with texture and metal change, allowing you to make it suitable for any time of year! Don't forget also there's several hunts going on right now with full functioning jewelry sets as the gifts, so find them while you're shopping at Moondance Boutique!

And because I love it, and it's Halloween time, here's a video of fun! My personal favorite version of the Halloween Song!

🎃🎃🎃

For the MR SL 2017 2nd Live Audition, I was given a color that I had to wear by a friend and fellow team member who also is a judge for many of the events. The color she gave me for this day was pink, so I wore pink and wore it well I think! I didn't want to go full formal for this one, so when I saw this 2 piece set by Tres Blah, I thought, "Hey! That's perfect!" and ended up buying it in all the colors because for 1, I love how it looks and fits, and 2, I love having options, and with this one, I could change the top and make it more formal, or wear a different bottom and make it completely casual, or wear together for this gorgeous semi formal look. The skirt and top are sold separately, and each include sizes for Belleza's Freya, Isis and Venus, Maitreya Lara, and Slink Hourglass and Physique. Thank you for the fun color challenge Kat, and congrats to the guys who got into the Pageant!

I'm late again posting this, and still playing the catch up game, but I certainly can't leave the 5th Challenge for MISS SL 2016 out after I did all the others! And this is also the last challenge before the Press Release and Grande Finale! For this challenge, the girls needed to take inspiration from L'Enfant Terrible which is a very outrageous Avant Garde type of styling, and all the girls did such a great job on it too! To read full details on the challenge, please visit this link, http://missslorganization.net/miss-sl-2016-the-5th-runway-challenge-lenfant-terrible/ while I again didn't go all out on the theme, I did choose some unusual hair from enVOGUE and a kind of edgey dress from Tres Blah, and I do think it worked well together indeed!
