Today was the Press Presentation for the MISS SL 2018 Pageant, which means we have the Grand Finale next! Hard to believe it's only 2 more weeks before we have a new reigning MISS SL! The ladies today were each given a beautiful kimono with matching geta designed specially by Gabriel for the Press Presentation. There were 3 designs they could choose from, and they were instructed to style it and make all the ladies want it. They all did a really great job today, and responded well under the pressure of the Q&A round as well! I can't wait to see who will be crowned MISS SL 2018, the competition is certainly fierce! The Grand Finale is scheduled for May 26, 2018 at 10am SLT.

Rissa and I also got to wear the new Beni kimono in the simpler patterns, but of course, no less gorgeous. The Beni kimono dress is available in 6 colors, 3 simple and 3 patterned, available at the Gabriel main store. The matching geta are also available in 6 colors, designed to go perfectly with the Beni kimono dress. Thank you very much to Mr. Takuya Jinn for designing this beautiful set!

The MISS & MR SL YoungStar 2017 pageant has come to an end, which means we now have our very first reigning MISS & MR SL YoungStar! It was a great event filled with lots of creativity, and the support these YoungStars showed to each other for the duration was just incredible to witness. It has been said several times, and I agree completely, each and every YoungStar was a winner, but sadly there can only be 1 reigning Miss and Mister. So that being said, I'd like to give a huge congratulations to Miss Ailytha and Mister Mckenzieky for becoming MISS & MR SL YoungStar 2017! Both of you did an outstanding job representing your titles! I, like so many others, jumped at the chance to maybe become a blogger for Blueberry when they announced that applications were open at the end of October/beginning of November, but, alas, I was not successful at this time in my blogging career. However, they did send out this incredible gift to all the bloggers that applied to blog for them! And yes, I totally love this dress! It was incredibly generous of them to even give a gift to their applicants, and is the first time since I started blogging that I've seen a store do anything like it. Needless to say, I was floored, and making it even better is the fact that it came with a HUD to change colors and use stripes or no stripes... SO amazing! While I am a little saddened that I did not get to be a part of the Blueberry blogging team this time, I do fully intend to try again the next time they open applications, I will NOT give up! *Smiles* BUT in the meantime... I get this super cute dress to wear! YAY! OH! And a big congrats to the lucky ones who DID get to be a Blueberry Blogger!

For this assignment, we were able to do pretty much whatever we wanted styling wise, it was the posing that was important here. So I was doing a little shopping at events and such like Shiny Shabby and Cosmopolitan and this outfit came together very cute I think! It's kind of Summery, with a hint of country to it. Even though the event rounds where I purchased some of these items are over, almost everything is still available at the main stores! *Smiles* SO below is a picture and style details. I hope ya'll like it as much as I did!
