An Invigorating Dose of Venom

It's finally October! Which means it's time for my absolute favorite Holiday and Season! I'm so excited I can barely stand it! I'm also beyond thrilled to be selected as a blogger for Pumpkin Town! YAY! Pumpkin Town has been nominated for Avi Choice in 2014 and 2015 for the best event of the year, and I'm sure they'll be nominated again for 2016! So much fun to be had at Pumpkin Town! There's hunts, parties, contests, live singers and DJs going on all month, and not to mention it's a fun environment and great for taking fun Halloween pictures! Be sure to check out their website for dates and times of events being held http://pumpkin-town.blogspot.be/. I know I'll be a frequent visitor to Pumpkin Town this month, so don't miss out on this fabulous sim and Halloween fun! Pumpkin Town will only be here for the month of October!

And because I love it, and it's Halloween time, here's a video of fun! My personal favorite version of the Halloween Song!

🎃🎃🎃

Over the Summer, I had the opportunity to cast as a model for Models Giving Back, and for the first round of auditions, they instructed us to wear something that's our favorite, it didn't matter what, so I chose to go with a favorite genre, Casual Chic, and since it was Summer time, I did a warm Summer going out to the beach or board walk type of look, and while pink isn't my favorite color exactly, I really loved how this look came together and I wore it a lot over the Summer. It also helped me move on to Round 2 of the casting, which I'll talk about below. *Smiles*

For Round 2 of the MGB Casting, we were given a bit more of a challenge, the styling theme was Spring/Summer 2016 - Barbara Bui Meets Angel Chen and we were given these links as reference. Barbara Bui SS16 Ready-to-Wear: http://www.vogue.co.uk/fashion/spring-summer-2016/ready-to-wear/barbara-bui and Angel Chen SS16 Ready-to-Wear: http://www.vogue.co.uk/fashion/spring-summer-2016/ready-to-wear/angel-chen we then had to take ideas from both lines and create our own look. We also weren't allowed to use a mesh head for this round, so it was also a challenge to make my standard face resemble my mesh face so I still felt like me during the casting! But it is good to have a good base face as well because you never know when you'll need to go meshless, so I'm glad I did that. And while I wasn't one of the lucky ones selected as a model for Models Giving Back, I am glad that I tried my best to do it, because what else is there to do really other than your best?

OMG I'm actually blogging this on the day it happened! It must be a blessing from the Gods, LOL! So that being said, today was the 2nd challenge for the MR SL 2017 Pageant, and wow is it a neat one too! The guys were told to research the Gods of their countries and style based on one, as every culture has one or more God, especially ancient cultures, it's very fun to see what they come up with. To read the full details of the challenge, please click the following link. http://missslorganization.net/mr-sl-2017-second-runway-challenge-challenge-of-the-gods/ I didn't follow a specific Goddess myself, but I did find this great dress design and it fit the theme perfectly I thought for a sort of generic Goddess or Muse. *Smiles* This set is so fabulous too that I couldn't resist using it for my picture! Mr. Kain Aristocrat did an AMAZING job on it! I cannot wait to see what happens next, that's for sure!

So, the 3rd and final live audition for the MR SL 2017 Pageant has come and gone, and that means the pageant is officially underway. We've got a great selection of talented guys competing for the title now, and I know without a doubt that they will all do great! For this audition, Kat told me the color was blue, so blue is what I wore, and since I had heard about this Pre Fall Exclusive Fashion Line that ISON & ROWNE were collaborating together on, I chose a dress from there. This line is split up at both locations, and is only available until September 28, then will never be available again, so it's definitely worth checking out. I know I am very glad that I did!
