An Invigorating Dose of Venom

Okay, so, 103's class was split in 2 classes because it was such an involved class. Here is the assignment that Ponchi gave half way through the 103 class. It was a fun assignment, and was the first time I tried to do the season color scheme to fit my skin and make me look FABULOUS. Ponchi said to think like I'm going to walk the Red Carpet going to the Oscars. Below is what I came up with, and I think it came together pretty nicely. =)

Getting back to it after I got distracted over Christmas *giggles* I'm showing the 2 outfits I styled for my second assignment. It was a little tougher because it was 2 outfits instead of just 1 and for one of them I had to really work at as it is not my usual style. But hey, this is why I wanted to go to school, to learn, and learn I have!

Outfit 1
In this first outfit, we had to come up with something inspired by the Antonio Marras Spring/Summer 2014 line. And this is the one I had the hardest time with.

Outfit 2
In this second outfit, I had a little bit of an easier time with, but that's most likely because it was more my style, and I used this outfit to complete this other part of the assignment as well.

 (In one of the styling you have to show that you  can take an item, be creative with it and find a way to use it in a different way from it's original use. You are free to edit it if you choose.)

I had made a copy of the bracelet worn in the picture and used it as a beaded ponytail cover. It worked out pretty neat!

Taking a short break from cataloging my class assignments to post about this photo contest I was in during the month of October. Some may already know that I have a little addiction/hobby with the KittyCatS Breedable Pet System. At the sim I had a small shop to sell some kittens at, there was a Harvest Festival for the duration of October, and one of the fun events was a photo contest. SO, I planned an outfit, and picked out a kitty and theme for my picture, and a dear friend helped me bring across the idea I had formed in my head. He went with my to the location I chose and helped me with setting up the props and such, then took the picture and edited it up for me. *Smiles* The end result was such a neat picture that I just HAD to share it here! It won 1st place at the end of the contest also! *Big Smile*

So after that first meeting with Ponchi, we set a date and time to have the first lesson. Some of the things Ponchi went over that day, I did already know, some of it I had known and then forgotten, but I'd also learned some awesome tricks that day that I still use now. =) Below is the outfit I styled to wear to my first lesson. I did restyle it to apply the new knowledge, but I love how it came out so much that I still wear it from time to time exactly as I wore it here.

After winning a scholarship to One on One Modeling Academy, Ponchi and I set a day and time to meet and talk before starting classes. I, of course, was a bit nervous not quite knowing what to expect or even to wear. SO I raided my inventory and ended up with a cute ensemble from Kastle Rock Couture. I quickly learned that Ponchi is an extremely nice lady and I'm super happy to be learning from her!
